Chucks in a coordinating team color make for the perfect Seattle Mariners outfit!
Also, you may need them to escape a mischievous moose roaming Safeco…
Many moons ago, the Seattle Mariners ran a contest for kids come up with a mascot, and it was revealed in the 1990 season that Mariner Moose had won. Apparently MM is known for cruising around the field on his Pacific Northwest-appropriate ATV, as well as pranking fans of the visiting team and sporting various costumes. I submit for your perusal, our impish, horned friend laying the whipped-cream-laden smack down on and unsuspecting Blue Jays fan:
While I remain perplexed that the mascot chosen wasn’t something aquatic-themed (or even Triton, himself), I can at least provide you answers when it come to a stylish Seattle Mariners outfit! Today’s men’s look is a dressed down, game-ready pairing based around a fantastic Mariners hoodie, layered over a flannel in team colors. I find this a simple, and timeless look for any fan, especially if you’re in a pinch and don’t have any actual team gear. In keeping with Seattle-inspired style, I included a locally made pair of raw denim jeans, wool socks, and handcrafted accessories from other local artisans. Oh, and let’s not forget the Chucks in Mariner teal – they are the perfect way to wrap up any casual fan look!
